It is a great pleasure to announce the 2nd IMPHOS-IWPPC Workshop on ”Phosphorus and Phosphate Compounds”, which will be held on September 6-8, 2005 at Chubu University in Kasugai, which is located in the north neighbourhood of Nagoya City in the central part of mainland Japan.

This international workshop is a prolongation of the 1st IMPHOS Workshop on “Phosphates-New Uses and New technologies”, organised at Jena University (Germany), 10-13 July 2002.

  1st International Congress on Phosphoric Compounds Proceedings, 17-21 October 1977 at Rabat (Morocco),
  2nd International Congress on Phosphorus Compounds Proceedings, 21-25 April 1980 at Boston, Mass. – USA
  3rd International Congress on Phosphorus Compounds Proceedings, 4-6 October 1983 in Brussels (Belgium)
  Phosphorus, Life and Environment From Research to Application, 8-11 September 1992 in Ghent (Belgium).
The 2nd IMPHOS - INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP should contribute to providing an objective image of the phosphate industry in general, and a public understanding of the uses of phosphates other than their use in fertilizers and detergents.
